QUALITy
Production of all products fully RoHs-compliant since June 1, 2005!
All transformers and power supplies are produced in accordance with valid standards and ratings such as VDE 0570, EN61558, UL-CSA and CE. With regard to medical engineering, all of our medical products are also EN60601-compliant.
Our production program places great technical and economic demands on having flexible production facilities and optimal operational logistics. Therefore, we have production facilities in 2 locations - the main plant and administration is in Schönaich, while a further plant has been operating for more than 10 years already in Glubczyce, Poland.
Thanks to the automation engineering we use in our production processes, we can ensure that all of our products are designed to deliver very high quality at a low price. Such automation also ensures a constant level of quality in our series production and the cost-effective production of customer solutions.
Our quality assurance begins right at the point when new products are being developed - through the conscious selection of materials, precision during the manufacturing process and repeated testing of the initial prototypes.
The use of quality materials such as double-enamel-coated wire, special heat-resistant insulating resins and self-extinguishing casing materials during production ensures that ULMER transformers have a high degree of safety, even when they are being used to the limits.
Electronic measurement and testing methods guarantee compliance with the required data and safety conditions.
Every single part is completely tested before it is dispatched.
Quality is also assured by producing our products in accordance with our DIN ISO 9001-compliant quality management manual. The experience of our customers is also incorporated into this and recorded in our manufacturing documents.
Annual on-site VDE audits are a guarantee of our high standard of quality.
"Just-in-time" warehousing of raw materials and our modern, mainframe-guided production planning system facilitate quick and guaranteed delivery dates every time.
